On Wednesday, March 28th, the DAWC along with Attorney Gregory Reed opened the "Women of Courage: Redefining America" exhibition. This exhibition centered artwork and artifacts from historical women of color who have made or are making their mark on society. Check out some of the pictures below!
Every last Sunday of the Month, join in for Self Care Sunday at the DAWC Clubhouse! Self Care Sunday is a safe place to release all negative energy, and gain positivity through all forms of healing therapy. Monthly sessions will include activities that teach more productive ways to help you though everyday struggles.

On Saturday, December 2nd, 2017, the Detroit Association of Women's Clubs participated in the 45th Annual Noel Night in Midtown Detroit. A long standing tradition, Noel Night continues to be a shining moment for the Detroit Association of Women's Clubs, and we look forward to continuing the tradition.

On Saturday, December 9, 2017, the Detroit Association of Women's Clubs had the honor of hosting SangriaVille at the DAWC Clubhouse. Organized by a group of strong and wonderful women, SangriaVille's mission and vision is to "To contribute positively to the lives of others and make our communities better places to live through our ongoing kindness and generosity to one another" and to "To bring together a diverse group of mature, progressive, creative women, who support and celebrate each other so that we can teach and learn from one another, foster meaningful and lasting relationships through a variety of social activities and events."

On Friday, November 17, 2017, the Detroit Association of Women's Clubs celebrated the unveiling and homecoming of the oil painting of past president Dr. Rosa Gragg. Dr. Gragg was instrumental in the procurement of the DAWC clubhouse and is a celebrated figure in both DAWC history and African American history. Check out the pictures below.
This past Saturday, 11/4/2017, members of the Detroit Association of Women's Clubs participated in the ARISE Detroit Neighborhood Summit, which brought together city wide organizations such as block clubs, community groups and ordinary citizens to champion the face of change and empowerment in Detroit. Coming off of a 3-day weekend, the Detroit Association of Women's Clubs, along with some faithful volunteers, spent Labor day morning delivering 188 meals to deserving citizens.
